1 - if you have not handed up your Reading Journal Entry 1, please do so as soon as possible. you wouldn't want to have marks deducted right? oh yes, a reminder: please do not tear entry 1 off, just hand the whole thing to christelle (:
2 - there will be a history test on 31th jan and the chapters tested would be chapter 1 & 2. so please do remember to study and revise those chapters alright? (: (the date printed in the revised exam schedule is wrong.)
3 - there is going to be a group project about scientists/chemists/physicists/biologists for physics. so for those who have not told the physics rep. which scientist they're doing, please do so as soon as possible so that she can hand the namelist to mrs. sim (:
4 - the upside-down drawing of igor stravinsky is due on 30th jan, thursday by art period (: also, the art textbook is already published and available at the school bookshop, but please don't buy it until mrs. chew confirms that she will use it as the pricing is quite steep and if she doesn't use it in the end its going to be a great waste of money.
5 - Volume B for Science Practical Book is also available at the school bookshop (: it is priced at $5.50 if i remember correctly when you use the popular student discount card. however, if you don't use the discount card, it will cost around 30 cents more.
6 - the oral presentation will be held during Language Arts period at anytime in Week 5, so please be ready okay? (:
7 - please regularly file in worksheets/handouts/notes just in our teachers will conduct a spot check on our files. also, for some subjects, such as Language Arts and Physical Science, dividers are needed to categorise the papers inside. you can either purchase some dividers, or use foolscap paper or construction paper as dividers (:
8 - after finishing your first reading journal book, please exchange your books with a friend to read alright? (: ms. gan said that we have to finish reading all the books that were distributed in class by june.
we're also going to be released at 10AM on chinese new year eve, and i think we won't be having any lessons, just in case anyone didn't know yet (:
